Ciri Takes the Spotlight in the New Witcher Game!

I’ve been a fan of the Witcher series since Witcher 1. Yes, that’s right—I played and loved the first Witcher game. Stepping into this world steeped in lore and monstrous creatures has been an incredible escape for years now. One of the series' defining hallmarks is its focus on strong, complex women, and this newest release continues that tradition by finally giving Ciri her time to hunt!

Being introduced to Ciri through the Netflix show and Witcher 3 was an absolute treat. Now, I can’t wait for my daughter to know Ciri as the Witcher before she even meets Geralt. (No shade to him, but these things matter!)

As with many of the announcements at last night’s Game Awards, details are still scarce. Thankfully, we have a stunning trailer to marvel at while we wait. After CD Projekt Red clawed Cyberpunk 2077 back from the brink, I have high hopes for this game. This is their chance to fully restore faith in their legacy, and I highly doubt they’ll waste it.
