Monster Hunter Wilds Release Date Trailer!

Hunters, unite! The time has come...for us to learn when the time will come. Okay, maybe that doesn’t quite work, but hopefully, you can forgive me. It's hard not to get excited about the new Monster Hunter Wilds trailer. Not only does it give us a release date (February 28th, 2025—just 5 months away!), but the craziest part of this announcement is that Capcom finally listened. They FINALLY listened.

For the first time, the PC version of Monster Hunter Wilds will release on the same day as the console version. Not 10 months later (looking at you, Monster Hunter Rise). Not 19 months later (LOOKING AT YOU, Monster Hunter World). The same day! This marks a major shift in how Capcom usually handles console game releases. Now, Monster Hunter fans on PC won’t have to shell out for a console (around $300, depending on the Switch model), buy the game ($49.99 for Monster Hunter Rise), grind it to death, and then repurchase it to play with friends on PC.
