Wayfinder is clawing its way back from the brink! Airship Syndicate has teamed up with Critical Role to drop a new themed cosmetic pack, and I’m here for it. What started as a rocky, MMO-lite launch has evolved into a polished, co-op hack ‘n’ slash RPG that's making waves with recent updates. Stay tuned for a deep dive into the turbulent journey between Wayfinder, Digital Extremes, and how this ambitious project narrowly escaped the void. Spoiler alert: we almost lost Wayfinder, but the devs fought back to deliver a vibrant open world with epic bosses, memorable characters, addictive gameplay, and now, a crossover worth celebrating!

The Wayfinder - Critical Role Supporter Pack will go live with the 1.0 launch of the game on October 21st, 2024 and will include the following:

• 4 Character Personas, including:

  Grendel as Grog Strongjaw

  Niss as Vax’ildan

  Venomess as Vex’ahlia

• 1 Trinket Mount & Saddle

• 4 Character Charms

• 15 Housing Items

• 10 Sprays

It will be available on Steam or the Playstation Store for $19.99.

The developers stated, through an announcement on their site and Steam that more packs like this are in the works and will follow the same philosophy and working with other IPs. These packs will not be sold in-game so you won’t be pressured to purchase while exploring the game world. It seems like more content is in the pipeline for Wayfinder as well like a new zone and mod support so if you haven’t checked it out yet, now seems to be a perfect time to do so!

Wayfinder is currently available on Steam and the Playstation store, with a future release planned for Xbox.
