Next Fest Day 2: Spooky Game Demos for the Season

Next Fest is in its second day STEAM, and here are a few demos for your spooky season!

Midnight Murder Club

Midnight Murder Club delivers heart-pounding multiplayer FPS fun with a unique twist. Set in the eerie, pitch-black Wormwood Manor, players are armed with only a flashlight and a revolver, forcing them to trust their senses and instincts as they face off against friends in thrilling shootouts. Each player wears a mask to hide their identity, enhancing the game’s deception and surprise. Navigating the dark corridors becomes a game of risk and reward—do you flick on your flashlight and reveal your enemies, knowing they can see you too, or do you rely on your other senses to survive the chaos?

With traps, weapons, and equipment scattered throughout the mansion, every match offers unpredictable FPS action. Equip yourself with night vision goggles, set traps, or wield a flamethrower to outsmart your opponents. The game features multiple modes, from classic free-for-all and team deathmatch to objective-based multiplayer modes that demand more strategy. Whether hunting or hiding, Midnight Murder Club combines suspense, fast-paced combat, and hilarious moments, making each round an intense battle of survival and wits.friends.

KLETKA

In Kletka, the most dangerous criminals are sent to an unforgiving fate—descend into the depths of the endless Gigastructure while keeping a living, ravenous elevator alive. The rules are simple: feed the elevator fuel and flesh, or become its next meal. Every descent is a desperate battle for survival, where the ominous Gigastructure is filled with deadly traps and anomalies that make each stop more dangerous than the last.

Among the many horrors lurking within, none are more feared than Samosbor, a terrifying anomaly that wipes out everything in its path. When the siren blares, the only chance for survival is racing back to the elevator, Kletka, which is the only thing that can protect you from the devastation. Team up with up to four players, but remember—while teamwork is key to surviving the depths, your friends may also become your elevator's next meal when supplies run low. Intense multiplayer action meets brutal survival in this thrilling descent into madness.

The Axis Unseen

The Axis Unseen is a heavy metal horror game from one of the developers behind Skyrim, Starfield, and Fallout. In this mysterious open-world game, you'll hunt terrifying monsters from ancient folklore, using elemental arrows and enhancing your own powers by collecting their supernatural abilities. But beware, the hunter is also the hunted—survival depends on your skill in tracking, shooting, and staying undetected. The demo is currently available and will carry your progress and achievements into the full game upon release on October 22nd.

What sets The Axis Unseen apart is its immersive design. Almost all UI exists within the world itself—you'll check your quiver to count arrows and rely on glowing tattoos to track health and powers. The dynamic heavy metal soundtrack by Clifford Meyer (formerly of ISIS and Red Sparowes) shifts from atmospheric to intense depending on the action. Upgrade your bow and experiment with elemental arrows like fire and time-distorting shots to master the hunt. Explore the world’s mysteries, uncover the fate of past hunters, and stop the creatures before they invade your world.

That’s it for our Next Fest Day Two roundup! Tomorrow, it’s time for a few Multiplayer games!
